As someone predisposed to fixate on tiny details when it comes to photography, the limitations of instant photography can be freeing. I’ve enjoyed architectural photography since choosing it as an area of focus in a broader photography course, and the act of combining large scale, permanent buildings with the small, temporary nature of the Instax format has held my attention for years. Instant photography has come to dominate my photography and the Instax camera I bought on a whim has replaced my DSLR as my go-to companion for traveling.
